Welcome to the Advanced Fitness community. This is a forum for intermediate and advanced fitness enthusiasts to discuss topics which may be outside the scope of a general community. PLEASE READ GUIDELINES BEFORE POSTING.
Topics may include training, supplementation, diet, or any combination thereof; this community, however, is designed for those who have a good understanding of the foundations of fitness. For those who are new to training there do exist several communities devoted to general information and basic concepts. This community was created as an adjunct to the gymrats community.

Posting guidelines:
  • Please keep posts on-topic. If you're tempted to include a personal narrative with your post, please carefully consider its relevance.
  • Please keep discussions civil and mature.
  • Please do not solicit requests for creating a diet or training plan from scratch. If you have questions of this nature, you may first want to consult gymrats or fitzilla.
  • Introductory posts are not necessary. Feel free to introduce yourself as you join, but do not feel obligated to do so.
  • Community spam is not appreciated. A zero-tolerance policy regarding spamming/trolling will be adopted.
  • Feel free to ask questions, post progress, brag (within reason) about your accomplishments and post photos (behind cuts).

Membership guidelines:
This is an open community. Anybody may join. Contact moderator normalcyispasse with suggestions.

Some official stances:
  • This community in no way endorses eating disorders. Pro-ana/mia posts will be deleted.
  • "Fad" diets are generally frowned upon. This community will not advocate one specific diet or training regimen but will frown upon trendy diets.
  • What works for one person may not work for another. There is no single specific solution to lifting, dieting or training.
